The Client: Overbrook Country Club
Overbrook Country Club is a prominent golf, tennis, swimming and social club. Established in 1908, it continues to inhabit the existing original clubhouse as well as three other additions that were made during the last 30 years.
The Need
Overbrook Country Club came to Keystone in search of an upgrade to their existing clubhouse audio system, as well as additional audio and interface requests. This upgrade would help bring their clubhouse to the most modern tech level and increase their memberships’ overall enjoyment.
Solving the problem
Keystone utilized its dealership relationship with various vendors to help build a new system for the clubhouse that was customized to fit every need for Overbrook Country Club. Centered around a state of the art audio and video processing core by Q-SYS technology, the new system expanded the existing audio zones and improved the sound quality throughout the entire facility. In addition, new bluetooth interfaces were added to 4 areas of the clubhouse, as well as an integrated microphone system, and over 72 speakers throughout the entire facility.
Challenges
Existing hardware was antiquated and extremely hard to remove, pulling wires through 3 additions. Previous construction dating back to the turn of the century also proved to be extremely time consuming.
